Over the years girls have not be so close to ICT. This was not only gender sensitive, its sometimes due to the state of being unprivilaged and inaccessibility of computers and digital gadgets. Statistics show that out of 100 girls, 20 had a chance to work under a digital environment from 1996 – 2016. Last year (2020) a global advocation of gender equality and generic visions of Common wealth of Learning (COL) in patternship with Kampabits (an ICT school that equips unprivilaged youth with ICT skills ) decided to organise a digital training for the girls.
